Stephanie is a graduate student in Science Education working with Drs. KC Busch and Meg Blanchard, as well as a researcher in Biomedical Engineering (also at NC State). She is interested in supporting scientists’ public engagement efforts through teaching, creating opportunities, making connections, and assessment. For her dissertation, Stephanie is exploring a novel framework intended to support scientists’ broader impacts work.

Stephanie has extensive experience with informal science learning across the Triangle, including The Museum of Natural Sciences, the Museum of Life + Science, The Science House at NC State, Science Olympiad, STEM RTP, the Scientific Research and Education Network (SciREN), the NC Science Festival, National Biomechanics Day, and numerous others.
