Ever wondered what critters you might be sharing your room with? Well, this year’s Wolfpack Citizen Science Challenge will help you realize that you never truly are home alone.
The project
The Public Science Cluster, as well as the Dunn Lab, are proud to announce this year’s Wolfpack Citizen Science Challenge, Never Home Alone @ NCSU. Students on and near campus will be able to participate by finding and photographing insects and other life that they encounter in their home, dorm, or apartment. Photographs will be uploaded to iNaturalist, and there will be prizes for students that record the most species! By participating in the challenge, you will become a part of the first scientific study to comprehensively examine the biodiversity of indoor spaces on a college campus.
